Privacy notice

Last updated 21 August 2026 · Cardgate

How Cardgate handles the limited personal data this site collects, and the choices available to you.

What we collect

Cardgate is a static information index. There is no account, no cashier, no contact form and no advertising script, so the only personal data involved in a visit is what a web server necessarily receives: an IP address, a timestamp, the file requested and the browser’s user-agent string.

Any additional collection — a measurement tool, a contact route — is listed here by the publisher with its lawful basis before it is introduced.

How long it is kept

Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and diagnostics, then discarded. Confirmed retention periods per category are supplied by the publisher.

Third parties

Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to a Google server when a page loads. Nothing else is fetched from a third party. Hosting arrangements and any transfer basis are stated here by the publisher.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to data held about you, ask for correction or erasure, object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. The contact route for requests is supplied by the publisher.

Publisher identity, contact route and any approved legal wording are supplied by the site owner and inserted here before publication.
